| The iPort In-Wall Docking System allows an iPod or iPod touch to become part of a whole-home entertainment system or seamlessly integrate into virtually any other environment, from hotel rooms to restaurants to business offices. System Capabilities - Compatible with most dockable iPod models including iPod touch. - Built-in preamplifier allows variable volume control via IR or the iPod's volume control. - Delivers local-zone unbalanced audio up to 30 feet from the iPort. - Charges the iPod/iPod touch while it is docked. - Delivers unbalanced video (iPod video content only, not program metadata) up to 30 feet from iPort. - IR allows remote control of most iPod/iPod touch audio functions when in general control mode. - Dimensions (W x H x D): 4ó" x 6 5/16" x 3«" (121mm x 160mm x 89mm) - Cut-Out Dimensions (W x H): 4" x 5 9/16" (102mm x 141mm) System Components - iPort dock (faceplate and utility box) - Unbalanced video wall plate and cable - Audio wall plate - Regulated power supply System Upgrades - Optional Balanced Audio Upgrade Kit (part number 70130) delivers audio up to 500 feet from the iPort. - Optional RS-232 Control Upgrade Kit (part number 70012) enables two-way communication and control of the iPod/iPhone via compatible control systems (requires Balanced Audio Upgrade Kit, part # 70130). - Optional Balanced Video Upgrade Kit (part number 70131) delivers video up to 500 feet from the iPort.
