KBB have been busy once again upgrading sound systems for schools throughout Auckland. Recently they completed upgrades for Pakuranga Intermediate School and Orewa Primary School.
Pakuranga Intermediate School is situated above the Pakuranga Town Centre in the Pakuranga Heights area. It is a smaller family oriented school of 415 students.
The requirement was an audio system in their school hall that would enhance school assemblies and vocal PA performances. The speakers needed to be permanently installed and the equipment to be easily locked away. To achieve this the control gear was installed in a portable Road Ready rack case. Inter-M SE-12 loudspeakers where chosen for the job, and installed by Tri-State Electrical. A QSC GX3 amplifier and two Shure SLX24-SM58 handheld wireless microphone systems, a Soundcraft EPM12 mixer and DBX 260 EQ and speaker control system completed the installation.

Orewa Primary School is regarded as one of New Zealand's most modern primary schools, and is resourced with the latest facilities. It now houses a brand new sound system in the school hall to compliment the modern surrounds. KBB, along with Haines MediaPro, supplied and installed Inter-M SE-12 speakers, a QSC GX3 amplifier, Shure SLX24-SM58 handheld wireless microphone systems, a Soundcraft EPM8 mixing desk and DBX Driverack PA+ speaker management processor.
