QSC K Series - On the Road!

The new QSC K Series is quite simply The New Standard in lightweight powered loudspeaker systems. We have received some amazing feedback about these speakers and want to share some of it with you. Ross McDermott – Soundsgood Ltd
SOUNDSGOOD based in the Kapiti Coast specialises in concert sound and lighting production for functions, events and festivals and quality sound installations for all venues. Ross is really impressed with the K Series and “my clients are also really happy. Simply they sound good! I use them for small hire and they require no eq, which is a bonus. The high frequency vocal boost works really well for vocalists. My partner is a musician and she uses the K8 for her personal monitor. The bass boost is impressive for pre-recorded backing tracks, not to mention the portability”.
Shane & Anita Robinson – SR Sound Ltd
Operating
in the Christchurch area SR Sound provides sound equipment hire, sales, installations, training & advice. They recently purchased a pair of K10’s and K12’s for their hire stock. Shane thinks the K Series speakers are very exciting “I love them with a passion. They are a magical piece of technology that has been well thought out and designed. Good versatility with the inputs at the back makes them a great asset. They make a brilliant foldback speaker because of the conical horn. They sound beautiful with a rich, clear sound and keyboards sound absolutely stunning. Not to mention they are lightweight and the grille is designed so that it doesn’t dent easily.

Hayden – HAB Enterprises
Hayden is a pro audio installer and has used these speakers for three installations, the first being the foyer area of a local church, which the speakers are utilised mainly for pre service music. Hayden also uses them with a pair of dual 15in active subs and runs a live band for 300 to 500 people. According to Hayden the K Series run less than half volume and can handle these numbers with plenty of head room. He mentions “I am blown away with the clarity and performance of these speakers”. Hayden is also impressed with the multiple channels, independent controls and remote speaker feature on the back of the speakers.
Dave Datt – Mobile DJ
DJ Dave has been a prominent figure in the world of Indian entertainment for a very long time. His presence and support at major Indian functions and events has helped various talent groups and individuals achieve their recognition in the world of entertainment both in New Zealand and abroad. Dave was totally blown away by his new K Series boxes “Best system I have used in 15 years as mobile dj. We had 500 people on Saturday at the event and the sound level was not even half.” This system comprised of 2 x K12, 2 x KSUB’s and 1 x K10 as a monitor. Dave has also purchased another complete mobile DJ K Series system.
