Sweet Sounding Music from SONANCE VP Series Loudspeakers in this Queenstown Award Winning Home built below the Remarkable's and next to Lake Wanaka.

Southland Electronics were tasked with a "complex and difficult brief” which stipulated a Japanese style interior of both contemporary and ornamental design. Sound throughout the home needed to match the mood of the elegant décor without being obtrusive. Southland Electronics audio designer and company director Ian Pottinger specified the SONACE VP range of speakers throughout the home. " We weren't happy settling on speakers that looked like heat pump vents. The Sonance Visual Performance (VP) Series speakers were created to give great sound and work in visual harmony with their surroundings”.

Southland Silver beech was used extensively throughout the house on wall panels, kitchen cupboard joinery, wardrobes, sliding screens, and also on a pelmet-level frieze which extends throughout the house as a unifying aesthetic feature.

"We needed speakers that offered extraordinary sound quality in an understated design, complementing the homes space without competing for attention”, said Pottinger.

The Visual Performance Series features striking updated aesthetic grilles with small trim that blend gracefully into any designed environment, allowing music to permeate the room without disturbing the design space.

The VP range can be heard in our new HI Demo Room.
